Making design choices to develop your ideal living atmosphere is one of the most exciting aspects of building a house. You've already met with our sales team, selected a floor plan and a lot, and now it's time to get down to business. You're in safe hands, so don't worry!
You'll make an appointment to meet with our New Home Design Specialist at our office after you sign your agreement. Our lead Contractor and Designer will help you pick beautiful flooring, cabinetry, accent walls and smooth countertop finishes, fireplace structure and design surroundings, paint colors, and hardware to turn your floor plan into your dream project! You will be directed and led with confidence during this appointment. We welcome a on-point communication, which is an extreme perk because here at Delightful Design that's the reason for a Design + Build under one roof concept.

1. CUSTOM HOME DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

Residential:
- Below 4,000 Square Feet = $3 Per Square Foot
- Above 4,000 Square Feet = $4 Per Square Foot

Each time someone reserves our custom home design service we block out a week on our calendar to dedicate to them. The home design process takes longer than one week, but that is how fast we can take on new jobs. This is one of the reasons that we have you make a reservation.
Get your design done in a timely manner by professionals who have the necessary skills and tools. Get more out of your design than just 2D linework.

​We require all of our custom plans to be structurally engineered. We have several structural engineers that we work with. Their fee is not included. They will send a separate invoice to you.

3. Interior 3D Renderings

- Additional Options - $197 Each

All we need is a .pdf of your house plans. For interior renderings we like to have the shop drawings of your cabinetry.

We provide hard surface interior design. That means we can design your cabinetry and help you select all of your materials and colors.

THE HOME DESIGN PROCESS
(See Service #1 Above)
Step 1 - Floor Plan Concept
Each client is unique and special, down to their beliefs and desires for their project. During this preliminary step, we will explore how we may design a floor plan that will meet your family's needs.
Step 2 - Style Concept
During this step, we will discuss your project's architectural style and outside appearance. Before proceeding to the next level, we will create a 3D model for approval.
Step 3 - 3D Renderings
​This is when we infuse your design with vitality, enthusiasm, and peace of mind. We don't want anything to be left to the imagination. We like to say that imagery is equal to a thousand words, but it may also save you thousands of dollars. This stage informs clients whether any alterations need to be made before the concrete is placed. We will acquire your approval before going on to the last level, detailing and engineering.
Step 4 - Detailing and Engineering
This is the final stage in which we complete your plans and provide everything required for your set of construction paperwork. We will complete all of the details and add structural engineering to the set.
Step 5 - Optional Interior Design
Our in-house interior designers will assist you in perfecting the inside look of your property, transforming it into a home. The creative variety available when selecting worktops, cabinetry, flooring, and so on may make the choice process lengthy and difficult. Allow us to assist you in planning and visualizing your endless options so that building your house becomes a pleasurable and stress-free experience. Visualization restores assurance and trust to your decision-making process.
